New Delhi : In yet another instance to show disrespect to the established system and protocol, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal did not salute the national Tricolour after hoisting it at Chhatrasal Stadium on the occasion of 65th Republic Day of the country.
As per tradition for this occasion, after unfurling the flag, one has to salute it, but the Delhi Chief Minister moved straight to his seat after flag hoisting.
Speaking on this, Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Harsh Vardhan said, “The way Kejriwal and his partymen have violated the norms and shown disrespect to the democratic system in recent days has been unforeseen. Even today what he did is deplorable.”

BANGALORE: A 55-year-old man, who raped his 16-year-old daughter for over three months and got her pregnant, is in the custody of Kumbalgod police.
The father was arrested on Friday, based on a complaint lodged by the victim's mother. He was booked on charges of rape and sodomy.
The accused's name was not released by the authorities. Police officers only said that the family stays in Bhuvaneshwarinagar near Kengeri, Dodda Basti, Ramanagaram district.
The accused is a construction labourer and his wife a garment factory employee. The victim has two brothers and is a I PU student.
The rape came to light when the student was admitted to ESI hospital in Dodda Basti after she complained of ill health. Doctors found her to be pregnant and informed her mother.

Probably the only thing that's worse than sexual abuse is child sexual abuse. And when it is perpetrated by a father, it raises questions about the health of a society where such incidents are becoming increasingly rampant. It is a telling reflection on a culture that placed great emphasis on family values. Since children are genetically conditioned to consider parents protective figures, a child who has been sexually abused by her father probably grows up trusting no one and hating everyone. A father guilty of sexually assaulting his own daughter deserves immediate and severe punishment for prevention of future horrors.
